The Minister of Health of Panama, Luis Francisco Sucre, announced that as of tomorrow, September 8, the national curfew will be from Monday to Sunday from 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. Districts are excluded from this measure and corregimientos that do not have a curfew will remain without the measure.
In the province of Colón, the curfew is lifted in the townships of Portobelo and Omar Torrijos, due to the decrease in COVID-19 infections.
HERRERA AND LOS SANTOS
The curfew is also lifted in the district of Los Pozos in the province of Herrera, and in the district of Los Santos.
VERAGUAS
In this province the curfew is lifted in the districts of Montijo, Las Palmas, Mariato, Río de Jésus and Santa Fe.
CHIRIQUÍ
On the other hand, in the province of Chiriquí, the districts of Renacimiento, San Lorenzo, Tierras Altas, Tolé, Alanje, Remedios and San Félix remain without restrictive measures.
DARIEN
The curfew measure is lifted in the Santa Fe district.
For the rest of the districts and townships, the curfew will be maintained from 1:00 am to 4:00 am, with the intention of creating a balance between the economic and health sectors.
The restaurants will remain open until 12:00 noon.
