Through the sweep strategy in circuit 8-6, more than 80,000 doses of Pfizer have been applied so far this day of immunization, as reported by Yaritzel Ríos, Health Director of the San Miguelito Region.

Ríos said that more than 148 thousand people are the target of vaccination in the 19 points enabled in 9 townships of that district.

"People have attended in a responsible and orderly manner the vaccination centers that correspond to them," said Ríos.

He expressed that once the vaccination day is over this Sunday, August 1, at least 50% of the population of the 8-6 circuit can already be immunized.

He stressed that the authorities began vaccination "with adults over 60 years of age, we immunize a large population, then we vaccinate people with disabilities with AstraZeneca and we have managed to reach approximately the number of vaccinated 130 thousand people."
