During the last 24 hours, a total of 483 people were detained for breaching the Executive Decree that establishes absolute quarantine in Panama.
Of the total of those apprehended, 455 are adults, 400 men, 55 women and 28 minors.
Also, a total of 42 vehicles (37 personal vehicles and 5 taxis) were towed for failing to comply with the established schedules.
The authorities indicated that they will continue with iron-clad operations nationwide and call on the population to stay home to mitigate
COVID-19 infections nationwide, a virus that has killed at least 266 people in Panama.
