More than 2,900 people did not comply with community service for Digital Voucher

More than 60% of those registered in social work to receive Digital Vale did so in community boards, the rest in city halls and educational centers.
A total of 136,000 people registered the option of community social service in the digital platform of Panama Solidario to receive financial aid from the Digital Voucher.

Of the total registered, 2,963 did not comply with social service. According to the Vice Minister of Labor and Labor Development, Roger Tejada, the majority of those who did not comply with social service reside in the Panama Oeste area.

More than 60% of those who signed up for social work did so in community boards, the rest in city halls and educational centers, Tejada said.

Regarding the virtual course, it was known that 80% of those registered took the courses to receive the benefit.

The Digital Voucher consists of a monthly allocation of B / .120.00 through the beneficiary's personal identity card, for the purchase of food, hygiene products and medicines. 10% of this voucher can be used for public transport.

The National Government announced the extension of this benefit until December 2021, however it established new requirements to be a beneficiary of the Digital Voucher. You must register through the website www.panamasolidario.gob.pa Digital Vale section, perform 24 monthly hours of community social service or take training courses from the National Institute of Professional Training and Training for Human Development (Inadeh) or the Institute Specialized Higher Technician (ITSE).

Since yesterday, registration was enabled on the Panama Solidario platform, the option to register the work or course that will be carried out in the month of October. The beneficiaries will have until September 30, 2021 to register on the platform and continue receiving the transfer.

The measure that establishes that the beneficiaries of the Digital Voucher with suspended contracts, pregnant women or those who are breastfeeding for up to 1 year, and people with disabilities, will not have to perform community social service or receive virtual training at Inadeh.

Those who were reactivated and then fired will be able to upload to the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (Mitradel) their letter of dismissal or mutual agreement to receive the benefit of Vale Digital. They would also have to meet the established requirements.
