The Tocumen Airport adds that as the document establishes, travelers who have a positive molecular
COVID-19 test result will have to comply with a 14-day quarantine in a hospital hotel for
COVID-19 travelers or where provided by the Health authority.
In the case of passengers whose molecular
COVID-19 test has a negative result, they must comply with a three-day isolation period at their home or in a non-
COVID-19 surveillance hotel at the expense of the State.
On the other hand, the Tocumen Airport indicates that travelers arriving from points other than South America must only present a negative swab / PCS or antigen test with a maximum of 48 hours, and do not have to undergo the
COVID-19 molecular test.
Passengers who are in transit to other destinations do not need to take the
COVID-19 test, however, the health authority reserves the right to randomly test all travelers at the points of entry into the national territory.
