Mitradel extends the validity of work permits

The Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (Mitradel) extended the validity of work permits that expired between March and September 2020, with the aim of alleviating the economic situation facing the country and the foreign population due to of the Covid-19.


This is stated in the resolution of Ministerial Decree 225 of August 19, 2020, which is signed by the Minister of Labor and Labor Development, Doris Zapata.

The new expiration dates are as follows:

* Those that expired in the month of March, will be valid until September 30, 2020.

* Those that expired in the month of April, will be valid until October 31, 2020.

* Those that expired in the month of May, will be valid until November 30, 2020.

* Those that expire in the month of June, will be valid until December 31, 2020.

* Those that expired in the month of July, will be valid until January 31, 2021.

* Those that expired in the month of August, will be valid until February 28, 2020.

* Those that expired in the month of September, will be valid until March 31, 2021.
