The entity details that this percentage represents approximately 140,379 reactivated contracts, of the 284,209 contracts that were suspended.
Doris Zapata, head of the Ministry of Labor, stressed that "the estimated projection of reactivation of employment contracts has been met and that 5,000 new contracts are being registered monthly".
On the other hand, the Mitradel explains that of a total of 10 thousand 664 processed companies, 1% of the reactivated workers correspond to the primary sector, 26% to the secondary sector and 74% to contracts reactivated in the tertiary sector.
He adds that according to the distribution by provinces, in Panama and San Miguelito 72.1% of reactivated workers are located, 9.5% correspond to Colón, 6% in Chiriquí, 4.5% in West Panama, 2.5% in Coclé, 2% in Herrera 1.8% in Veraguas, and 1.4% is distributed in the provinces of Los Santos, Bocas del Toro and Darién.
