The authorities of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) are studying the possible implementation of the use of face screens on a mandatory basis in public transport, as a measure to prevent contagion of COVID-19.
We have it under study in our public health team to see this issue, but it is a letter that is on the table and that is being discussed, said the Minister of Health, Luis Francisco
Sucre.
He emphasized that the use of these screens represents an additional protection to the mask, thereby reducing the risk of contagion.
That is why it is important that anyone who can use it when they are in places that are very closed, and who has to have contact with many people at the same time, it is important that they use it, it does not guarantee 100% but it does reduce probabilities because it becomes another barrier for the virus to spread, he said.
