The Ministry of Health (Minsa) of Panama clarified that "no dress code has been established to immunize", and that the main objective is the welfare of the population, so they recommend vaccinating against COVID-19 whoever arrives, without consider how they dress.
This clarification arises after dozens of people on social networks denounced that they were not allowed to enter the vaccination centers if they were wearing shorts, flip-flops, T-shirts or sleeveless shirts, despite the fact that they were asked to wear comfortable clothes that did not prevent or complicate inoculating the patient.
Previously, the Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre said that "everyone should wear at least closed shoes, long enough pants that are acceptable, and a shirt or at least a sweater," however recommended taking every opportunity to vaccinate.
Currently in Panama, there are dozens of certified anticovid vaccination centers. The health authorities ask not to lower their guard and go to these positions to apply the corresponding doses of either the COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer or AstraZeneca, with the intention of achieving herd immunity.
You can register to be vaccinated against COVID-19 on the Panama Solidario platform, in the Vaccines section ; as well as knowing the day, time, date and place of vaccination in the Verify yourself section.
