Minsa: For urgent care and swabs there is no restriction by gender

The Ministry of Health of Panama clarified this Monday that people who require urgent medical attention or undergo a test for COVID-19, can do so on any day, regardless of their sex or ID number.
From today until January 14, a total quarantine began in the provinces of Panama and Panama Oeste, which restricts mobility to specific days and hours, according to gender and last ID or passport number. This measure seeks to reduce the number of people on the streets and therefore minimize the risk of contagion by COVID-19, however, as explained by the Minsa, this restriction does not apply to the care described above.

Earlier there was confusion in the swab centers, due to the fact that there were men waiting for their samples to be taken and they were told that they would not be treated, since, as established by the Minsa, on Monday mobility is only allowed for women.
