Fepafut reiterates that fans who have a complete vaccination against COVID-19 will be able to enter the games on September 2 and 8.
The Panamanian Football Federation (Fepafut) reported that the Ministry of Health of Panama ( Mins a ) authorized an increase in the capacity for football matches of both national teams and the Panamanian Football League.
In that sense, it details that the allowed capacity will be the following:
Vaccinated Foreign Visitor Areas: with a capacity of 70% and they must also comply with all current entry regulations into the country.
“The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Panama informed the Panamanian Football Federation on Thursday that, after learning about the progress that the country is making in the fight against
COVID-19 thanks to the great general vaccination process that is being carried out out, it authorizes him to have different areas in the stadiums where football matches are held,” says Fepafut in a statement.
The entity adds that although it is true, the
Minsa also authorized them to have an area for non-vaccinated people, the Fepafut chose to allow entry only to those people who are with their complete vaccination process, this in order to promote vaccination in the entire national territory.
He adds that together with the Government Innovation Authority and the
Minsa, they are working to have checkpoints in the vicinity of the Rommel Fernández Stadium so that anyone who has completed their vaccination process and has their ticket can enter the installation.
