The authorities of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) and the security forces met this Friday with the aim of coordinating actions against the increase in visitors to the beaches and spas in the province of Chiriquí.
The objective of this coordination is to ensure that the people who visit these sites comply with the biosecurity measures established to prevent the spread of
COVID-19 infections.
Dr. Gladys Novoa, regional director of Health in Chiriquí, explained that the authorities will adhere to comply with the established schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., verify that the family bubble does not exceed seven people and that they are not consumed alcoholic drinks.
At the same time he stressed that they will be energetic in enforcing biosafety regulations and for this they call on the community to avoid crowds at these sites.
“Maintaining security measures means that maintaining a bubble no greater than 7 when entering these areas, they cannot carry alcoholic beverages, they must stay within their bubble when they are in those areas and the team of the security forces, our team of biosecurity will be attentive to make the necessary interventions and inspections and constant tours ”, explained Novoa.
