Minsa and Meduca reduce physical distance in educational centers to one meter

The Health Minister indicated that the decision to modify the physical distancing in schools was taken in conjunction with the Ministry of Education.
The Minister of Health of Panama, Luis Sucre, announced this Tuesday that a decision has been made to modify the physical distance established between students in educational centers, with which it will be one meter.

"Today we want to announce that in conjunction with the Ministry of Education and after having discussed, observed and analyzed, the physical distance from two meters to one meter between students in private and official educational centers will be modified," Sucre said.

However, he emphasized that strict compliance with other biosafety measures should be reinforced, such as the use of a mask, hand hygiene, and the improvement of ventilation in classrooms.
