30% of the health personnel who attend the covid-19 rooms of the San Miguel Arcángel Hospital were vaccinated until the afternoon of this Thursday, January 21, according to the Ministry of Health of Panama.
Dr. Cosme Trujillo, director of this hospital, reported that 210 doses have been assigned for health personnel who work in the Intensive Care Unit and the Respiratory Care Unit.
Among those vaccinated are nurses, doctors, respiratory technicians, and hospital cleaning staff.
The HSMA receives an average of 75 people a day in the emergency respiratory care center.
The health personnel are waiting for the opening of the Campaña Hospital so that it is another palliative in the fight against
covid-19.
