During an operation carried out this Wednesday, January 20, members of the Joint Sanitary Task Force detected anomalies in a company that offered swab testing services for Covid-19 to employees of a supermarket in the district of La Chorrera, province of West Panama.
According to the report, two stores of a supermarket chain were closed for 72 hours to be disinfected, after the authorities received a complaint that 33 workers allegedly had
coronavirus.
When the authorities arrived at the place, this Wednesday, to see if the representatives of the supermarket premises were complying with the order, they discovered that the company that made the swabs to the employees did not have the needed requirements.
The case was sent to the West Panama Primary Care Prosecutor's Office.
