Masters scholarships are awarded to more than 140 outstanding university students in Panama
The granting of scholarships was aimed at students with the highest academic scores in their faculties.
A total of 146 outstanding students, from private and official universities in the country, received scholarships to study a master's degree.
The students with the highest scores from each university will have the option of developing their master's degree in higher education houses in Panama or any other country, depending on their preference, while the rest of the students will be able to develop their master's studies in any of universities established at the national level.
The chosen students are from Telecommunications, Nursing, Nutrition, Computer Science, Marketing, Architecture, Pharmacy, Visual Arts, Dental Surgery, Mechatronics Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Bilingual Tourism, Biology, Financial Engineering, Preschool Education and Plastic Arts
The benefits are given after an agreement signed between the Institute for the Training and Use of Human Resources (Ifarhu) and the Council of Rectors of Panama, for the granting of scholarships to students with the highest academic scores in their faculties.
The benefits were delivered in a symbolic document delivery ceremony.
