El sistema de validación de salvoconductos se mantiene activo

Martínez clarifies that safe conduct will be required from January 4, not during this week

The head of the Ministry of Commerce and Industries of Panama ( MICI ), Ramón Martínez, clarified this Tuesday that this week the use of safe conducts is not needed , but that they will be required by the workers of the companies that are allowed to continue operating during during the total quarantine in Panama and Panama Oeste, starting next Monday, January 4, 2021.

He explained that currently the platform for validation of safe-conducts this activity and they are carrying out a process of sweeping or debugging the companies that are not included in the exceptions and leaving those that are allowed, with which companies do not have to do everything the procedure, but only the validation.

It is important to remember that the safe conduct will be required from January 4, not this week, but to give companies security we are doing this internal purification of the platform so that only the safe conduct of the activities that are allowed within of Executive Decree 1686, Martinez detailed.

The validation of natural and legal persons with notice of operation will be carried out through the platform: https://validacion.salvoconductos.mici.gob.pa/identificacion, which is available to workers that comply with the provisions of the Ministry of Health (Minsa).
