The National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) assesses this afternoon the damage caused by the rainsand the strong winds that arose in the province of Panama.
Avenues such as the Pan-American Highway, at the height of Howard; the main one from Condado del Rey, via Spain in Río Abajo; José Agustín Arango avenue in front of Carolina square and Ricardo J. Alfaro in front of Cochez in the direction of San Miguelito, were flooded by heavy rains.
While Sinaproc units went to the Loma 9 sector, Mateo Iturralde township, in San Miguelito, to evaluate a landslide that occurred in this sector. No injured people are reported.
The strong winds knocked down trees in Loma Campana and the awnings of the Mayor's Office of Panama were blown up in the Francisco Arias Paredes park.
It should also be noted that several traffic accidents were recorded due to the poor visibility and humidity of the roads.
