Judge denies substituting precautionary measures for singer Yemil

Yemil is charged with the crime Against Life and Personal Integrity, in the form of Personal Psychological Injury, against his ex-partner.
The Judge of Guarantees of the First Judicial Circuit of Panama, Yanina Mosquera, denied replacing the precautionary measure imposed on urban music singer Yerik Emil Mosquera, known as Yemil, with a more severe one, such as preventive detention.

The request, made by the Public Ministry, arose after Yemil failed to comply with the measures imposed for periodic reporting on the 7th and 22nd of each month, however the singer's defense presented a disability due to health conditions, for which Mosquera decided to maintain the measures set out above.

In addition to the periodic report, Yemil, who is accused of the crime Against Life and Personal Integrity, in the form of Psychological Personal Injuries, against his ex-partner, is prohibited from approaching the victim and leaving the country.

In this criminal case, a Judge of Guarantees set the date of the hearing before the Oral Trial Court of the First Judicial Circuit of Panama, on March 14, 2022, at 9:00 am, in Room No. 3, at facilities of the Accusatory Penal System (SPA) of Plaza Ágora.

This investigation then began that Yemil allegedly assaulted his ex-partner on May 3, 2019, from the Buenos Aires neighborhood, Pedregal district to a bus stop in the neighborhood, Brisas del Golf.

Previously, this artist was arrested for also assaulting another of his ex-partners, but he managed to pay days of fine.
