The ITSE detailed that the new digital school will offer specialized programs in cybersecurity, Big Data and software development.
The Specialized Higher Technical Institute ( ITSE ) reported that its new School of Innovation and Digital Environments is currently in the formulation stage, with the expectation of starting classes in the first semester of 2020.

The ITSE indicated that with this digital school it is proposed to respond to the challenges that the
covid-19 pandemic has imposed.
"The pandemic has made it clear to us that we have to advance rapidly in technological matters, so as an Institute of Specialized Technical Higher Education we are moving towards the implementation of this school that will provide the professionals that Panama needs today," said the educational manager of ITSE, Milena Gomez.
The project is being carried out with the support and supervision of the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), the Government Innovation Authority and the Secretariat of Competitiveness of the Ministry of the Presidency.
