With this, the institution will continue with the progressive plan to return to campus, which began on August 30.
As of this Monday, September 13, the Specialized Higher Technical Institute ( ITSE ) will begin the admission of the first students to take practical face-to-face classes.
With this, the institution will continue with the progressive plan to return to campus, which began on August 30, with the incorporation of the first group of instructors.
The ITSE launched the progressive return plan after face-to-face classes had been suspended for more than a year and five months, due to the declaration of a National State of Emergency, as a result of the first cases of
COVID-19 in Panama.
The decision was made “after the vaccination process against
COVID-19 has advanced in the country and given the need for students to advance with their face-to-face practical classes, given that the ITSE dual training teaching methodology includes 60% of practical classes and 40% of theoretical classes,” indicated the Itse at the time.
He also pointed out that the return to the campus was carried out in compliance with all the biosecurity measures that it has implemented since mid-2020, by its special committee to preserve health and hygiene.
