Ifarhu: Third payment of scholarships to university students begins

On the Ifarhu website, the payment calendar for university students of Contest and Educational Assistance is available.

Ifarhu reports that as of this Monday, August 30, some 34,402 undergraduate, graduate and master's degree students from official and private universities nationwide will receive the third payment of their scholarships for the 2021 period.

According to the President of the Republic of Panama, Laurentino Cortizo, the disbursement of the university scholarships for Contest and Educational Assistance is $15.6 million.

In downtown Panama the payment will begin this Monday with the faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, Agricultural Sciences and Fine Arts; While on Tuesday the faculties of Social Communication, Public Administration, Humanities, Natural Sciences, Exact and Technology, and postgraduate and master's degrees will continue.

To find out the payment dates according to region and faculty, you can check the payment schedule on the Ifarhu website.

Calendars are enabled for the provinces of Darién, Chiriquí, Panamá, Panamá Oeste, Veraguas, Coclé, Colón, Bocas del Toro, and Los Santos.

The calendar of the province of Herrera will be enabled at noon this Monday. This is because the educational centers where the payment of the U Pass and university scholarships is made, were being used to apply the doses of anticovid vaccines, and both events coincided, so there was a delay. However, payments will be made in the coming days.
