High points of the city and San Miguelito, without water due to a broken pipe in the North corridor
The breakage of one of the parallel lines of drinking water supply, in a section of the North corridor, caused the high points of the city as well as several sectors of the San Miguelito district to run out of water on the afternoon of this Saturday, 24. July.
The lack of water could last for 48 hours due to "the complexity of this incident," reported the Institute of National Aqueducts and Sewers (Idaan).
The institution explained that a private contractor company of the National Highway Company (ENA) caused damage to one of the parallel lines of drinking water supply that supply the city, near the Tinajitas tanks.
He stressed that to supply hospitals and critical sites they will activate a contingency operation to supply water through tank cars.
