Health Ministry evaluates making curfew more flexible
The Ministry of Health of Panama announced that it is evaluating making the curfew more flexible, to begin at 12:00 midnight.
This after the proposal presented by the Restaurant Association by virtue of seeking the facilities that generate a better economic recovery.
The inter-institutional task table in which the ministries of Health, Commerce, and Labor and the Social Security Fund participate, continues to evaluate the initiative; the decision will be informed in the press conference that is held weekly.
Currently the national curfew is from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am.
Regarding the request submitted by the Association of Clubs and Bars for its opening, the general director of health, Nadja Porcell, indicated that there is a recreational opening schedule, such as for bars, canteens and some festive activities such events that gather crowds, which have not yet been considered for the restart of operations.
