The Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre, announced that starting next Monday, February 22, the reopening of gyms, beauty salons, massage shops, spas, marinas and sport fishing in the provinces of Panama and West Panama will be allowed.
He explained that the opening of the gyms will be subject to the capacity of 50%, while the attention in aesthetic establishments, massage rooms and spas will be carried out through previous appointments.
Sucre added that in addition, as of March 6, cinemas will be allowed to open at the national level, maintaining capacity and biosafety measures.
It is worth mentioning that the reopening of these sectors responds to the significant reduction in
covid-19 cases in recent weeks.
