The Government published in the Official Gazette this Sunday, December 20, the new means of restriction of mobility at the national level as well as the total quarantine for Christmas and New Year, to stop the advance of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
In Executive Decree No. 1684, the Ministry of Health (
Minsa) details that as of this Monday, December 21, access to commercial retail establishments is restricted, according to the gender of the people.
On December 21, 23, 28 and 30, women will be able to enter these premises. Meanwhile, on the 22nd, 24th, 29th and 31st, men can do it.
In addition, a curfew is maintained from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am According to the decree, the movement of people is allowed throughout the national territory, except during curfew hours.
Regarding the total quarantine, the
Minsa details that it will begin at 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 24 and conclude at 5:00 am on Monday, December 28. And the second total quarantine will begin at 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 31, until 5:00 am on Monday, January 4.
The document highlights that the dry law is maintained from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am, including home delivery.
Likewise, the decree establishes the prohibition to enter the beaches and rivers from December 23 to January 4. PHs, residences and hotels may make use of open social areas and swimming pools, but these areas must remain closed during curfew hours.
