The validity of Executive Decree 165, which establishes price control in 14 products of the basic family food basket , was extended for another six months.
The products that maintain their maximum sale prices, under price control and that are verified by Acodeco's verifiers , are:
- The stifle
- Ribbon steak
- Prime ground beef
- Whole chicken
- First-class rice
- National and imported yellow onion
- Yam (paddle, diamond and slimy)
- National potato
- Tomato perita
- Yucca
- Powdered milk (whole, instant, in any container containing 345 - 400 grams)
- White Sliced Bread (14-18 ounce packages)
- Processed American yellow cheese
- Sausages containing beef (loose or 1 pound packages)

So far in 2021, Acodeco has imposed 93 fines, worth $66,475 to different economic agents that failed to comply with this measure.
Acodeco asks consumers to report those who sell above the prices established for the 14 products, reporting the name and exact location of the commercial premises to its Institutional Information and Complaint System (Sindi).
