Through a statement issued this morning, the National Government clarified that the second dose of those vaccinated abroad will only be for those over 60 years of age and priority groups.
"Panamanians and residents of Panama who were immunized abroad until May 16, 2021 with the first dose of the vaccines used in Panama (Pfizer and AstraZeneca) will have their second dose completed in accordance with the Continuous Vaccination Strategy", indicates the government's clarification.
It is detailed that this second dose will be applied to them as long as they are in the priority groups that have already been vaccinated or are in the process of being vaccinated in the country, such as those over 60 years of age, pregnant and lactating women up to 6 months, patients with chronic diseases and teachers.
Those interested in obtaining this dose should process their appointments through www.panamádigital.gob.pa by requesting the second dose and uploading the vaccination card of the first dose to the system, to await the approval and assignment of the vaccination center.
