From this Thursday a 'safe conduct' is not needed to commute

The Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MICI) of Panama reported that as of this Thursday, January 14, the use of safe conduct for mobility will not be necessary, this in light of the new measures announced by the Ministry of Health (Minsa).

Tomorrow the two weeks of quarantine established in the provinces of Panama and Panama Oeste will end, which only allowed the mobility of people at specific hours and days, for essential purchases. Those who had to move for work reasons, had to have passports.

As of this Thursday there is free mobility, restriction of purchases by gender and curfew from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Curfew must have a letter issued by their employers and their work card.

The Ministry of Health ordered that a total quarantine weekend be maintained in both provinces, in which circulation is prohibited.
