The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported that this Saturday, June 12, the fourth batch of vaccines against COVID-19 from AstraZeneca will arrive in Panama.
Details that the new batch of vaccines will arrive at the Tocumen International Airport at 4:00 pm
It highlights that this will be the second delivery of vaccines that the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca will make to Panama through the bilateral mechanism. The other two vaccine shipments were delivered through the COVID-19 Vaccine Access Mechanism, also called Covax.
It is worth mentioning Panama has received to date a total of 314,400 doses of anticovid vaccines from AstraZeneca, and they are being applied to men and women over 30 years of age on a voluntary basis.
Citizens who want to apply these vaccines must register through the platform http://vacunaspanamasolidario.gob.pa, where they must choose the web appointments option.
