The objective of this Forum is to publicize the plans and policies of the Minsa and the CSS established, regarding the issues of public health care for minors.
The Ministry of Health (
Minsa) of Panama announced that on October 5 the Forum for the Care of Children and Adolescents will be held, which seeks to expose the country's public health plans for minors.
This Monday the third coordination meeting was held with the Social Security Fund, (CSS), the Ministry of Social Development, (Mides) and the United Nations Fund, (JNFPA).
Ivette Berrío, Deputy Minister of Health, indicated that all the main actors on the subject have been taken into account. "The objective of this Forum is for the Panamanian population to know the established plans and policies of the
Minsa and the CSS, with respect to issues of public health care for children and adolescents," she said.
For his part, the Program Assistant for the United Nations Fund (JNFPA), Juan Lu, pointed out the importance of assuming these challenges regarding childhood. "The health sector has always responded to the health needs of children and adolescents, it is important to make known what are the main actions and programs that exist at the country level in response to this sector of the population that demands greater articulation of the actions that are carried out in their favor,” he concluded.
The aim is for the population to know what alternatives are available for the health of minors.
