Foreigners request to be included in social assistance programs
A group of foreigners, migrants and refugees asked the Ombudsman's Office to be included in the digital voucher and humanitarian aid carried out by community boards, due to the crisis resulting from the covid-19 pandemic .
The group stated that they face limitations in going to work, which has affected their family income, for which they ask to be taken into account in social assistance programs.
According to the Ombudsman's Office, the group requested their intervention to guarantee their human rights.
