Foreigner rescued who jumped into the sea on Coastal Beltway 3 to save his dogs
Units of the Meritorious Fire Department rescued this Saturday morning a foreign citizen who fell into the sea in the marine stretch of Coastal Beltway 3.
The event was reported around 9:30 am; The person walked with his pets, later one falls into the water, the other is scared and jumps after, the captain of the Fire Department, Ángel Delgado, explained in statements to RPC Radio.
In his instinct to save his pets, he also jumps to water to search them, having problems with how to get out, an SPI unit in wanting to support jumps into the water and they remain floating in the sector, however they had no resources to be cared for, Delgado said.
For rescue work, units of the Fire Brigade from the Calidonia station were sent to the site.
Units from the Institutional Protection Service (SPI), National Aeronaval Service (Senan) and the National Police (PN) also participated in the operation.
Delgado said that both the foreigner and his pets were fine and did not present any injuries.
