Executive will announce new director and changes within the National Police on January 25
The President of the Republic of Panama, Laurentino Cortizo will announce on January 25 the new director of the National Police (PN), replacing Jorge Miranda, who reached 30 years of service (retirement time).
He indicated that changes and rotations will also be made for the different areas of the Police.
According to the Panamanian president, the changes will be due to timely retirements.
Miranda, was appointed by Cortizo in June 2019, as director of the entity.
The chief executive's statements were made during a discussion with journalists and a community work tour in the Soná district, Veraguas province.
