Executive Decree establishes a more flexible curfew

Thursday was promulgated in Official Gazette the Executive Decree No. 261, through which a more flexible curfew is official from Monday 5th April.
The document indicates that the extension of the curfew hours throughout the national territory is established from 11:00 pm to 4:00 am from Monday to Sunday, with the exception of the days of total quarantine provided by the Executive Branch in some areas.

Likewise, the Decree indicates that as of Monday, April 5, it will be possible to access the beaches, rivers and public spas from Monday to Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Similarly, it establishes the operation of all businesses already authorized until 10:00 pm.

The decision to extend the curfew hours arises after the inter-institutional task table in which the ministries of Health, Commerce, and Labor and the Social Security Fund participate, evaluated the request of the restaurant owners in virtue of seeking the facilities that generate a better economic recovery.

"The new measures are adopted based on the latest epidemiological reports of the MINSA, but preserving the biosafety guidelines in order to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and following the scheme established by the National Government," said the Presidency of the Republic.
