Drone with drugs seized in La Joya prison
The Penitentiary System reported that the drone had tied a wrapper lined with cream colored tape, with drugs attached.
Guards of the La Joya prison seized in vicinity of prison Hall 4 a drone in which drugs were discovered.
The drone was tied in a cream-colored duct-tape wrapper with dried cannabis.
Andrés Gutiérrez, director of the Penitentiary System, said that the alarms in the La Joya prison were activated at 11:00 pm this Monday, when an aircraft was heard flying over the prison.
Later, an operation was carried out that resulted in the seizure in Guantánamo 2 of a package with 10 packs of cigarettes, and 50 minutes later the drone with drugs was seized.
