The Ministry of Health (Minsa) decided to tighten the measures in Chiriquí and Veraguas due to the increase in cases of covid-19.
In the Official Gazette, Executive Decree No. 796 of May 14, 2021, was published, by means of which the curfew is extended in the provinces of Chiriquí and Veraguas.
According to the Executive Decree, a curfew is established from Monday to Saturday in the provinces of Chiriquí and Veraguas from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
In addition, a total quarantine is established, without working hours or mobility, from Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. to Monday at 4:00 a.m.
All industrial and commercial activities that operate in both provinces may remain open from Monday to Saturday until 7:00 p.m.
Companies and individuals dedicated to the service of home delivery of food, medicine, and food prepared in restaurants that provide home delivery, must comply with a curfew every day from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am
