For the districts of Panama and San Miguelito, the curfew will be from Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Shops must close at 9:00 p.m.
The Executive Decree 780 which establishes, from the June 7, 2021, new measures curfew for the provinces of Panama , Chiriqui and Veraguas, was enacted.
Panama and San Miguelito
The document establishes that for the districts of Panama and San Miguelito, the curfew will be from Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., so shops must close at 9:00 p.m.
From the district of Panama, the district of San Felipe is exempt from this measure; and in the district of Taboga, the townships of Taboga Cabecera, Otoque Occidente and Oriente, which will remain with a curfew from 12:00 am to 4:00 am
Veraguas and Chiriquí
In its article 2, the decree establishes that for the districts of Cañaza, Montijo, Calobre, Santa Fe, Mariato and Río de Jesús in the province of Veraguas, the curfew will be from 12:00 am to 4:00 am
However, for the rest of the province of Veraguas, the curfew and total quarantine will be governed by Executive Decree 774 of May 21, 2021, which indicates that the curfew will be from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am, and the total quarantine is maintained on Sundays, without working hours or mobility that will include from Saturday at 10:00 pm to Monday at 4:00 am
All industrial and commercial activities that operate in the rest of the districts of Veraguas may remain open from Monday to Saturday until 9:00 p.m.
For the district of Remedios in the province of Chiriquí, a curfew is established from Monday to Sunday from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m., however the rest of the province will maintain a curfew from Monday to Saturday from 8 : 00 pm to 4:00 am, and total quarantine until 4:00 am on Monday, as indicated by Executive Decree 769 .
Chiriquí shops, except those located in Remedios, must close at 7:00 pm
Galleras reopening
According to the decree, as of next Monday, June 7, "the sheds that operate in the provinces that in the opinion of the health authority maintain a low contagion rate will reopen, which will carry out their activity with a capacity of up to 25% of their capacity and will comply with the biosecurity measures contemplated in Resolution 1350 of November 30, 2021 ".
