In the Official Gazette, Executive Decree No. 783 of June 18, 2021 was published, which establishes measures for Panamanian travelers and residents who enter Panama who have stayed or transited through the United Kingdom, Republic of South Africa, India or South America.
In accordance with the Decree, Panamanians and residents who, as of June 23, come from, have stayed in or transited through the aforementioned countries during the last 15 days and who enter the country by air, land or sea, will be exempted from quarantine of three days and molecular test as long as you present a negative 48-hour COVID-19 test result generated by a certified laboratory or performed upon entering the Tocumen International Airport.
In addition, the Decree indicates, they must present a card or digital certification of a complete immunization scheme with vaccines endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO), the European Medicines Agency (EMA), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) .
To obtain the digital vaccination certificate, the traveler must access www.panamadigital.pa.
