For the provinces of Chiriquí, Panamá Oeste and Colón, the indicators will be analyzed to make the curfew more flexible in the near future.
This Friday, Decree 849 was promulgated in the Official Gazette, which lifts the curfew in various sectors of the country as of September 27 and increases the capacity in religious centers.
Starting next Monday, the curfew will be lifted in the provinces of Panama, Veraguas, Herrera, Coclé and Los Santos; also in the districts of Chagres and Capira.
The districts of the provinces of Colón, Pánamá Oeste, Chiriquí and the regions, will maintain a curfew from 1:00 am to 4:00 am, and commercial activities may remain open to attend to the public in person and at home until 12:00 am.
This decree also allows a 50% capacity in churches, temples, parishes, chapels and centers of worship. When the religious organization calls services or ceremonies for vaccinated people, the allowed capacity will be 80%.
Minsa personnel and public security entities will maintain strict operations to monitor compliance with these measures, according to the authorities
