It also establishes that home delivery people must have certificates of good health or sanitary training.
This Tuesday, Resolution No. 2214 was promulgated in the Official Gazette, which establishes a series of new health measures, and the mandatory use of masks and face shields in restaurants, inns or similar.
The document states that everyone who handles or prepares food must use masks on a mandatory basis, and the public service personnel in restaurants, inns and the like, must use, in addition to the mask, the mask or facial screen on a mandatory basis, as well how to continue complying with the other biosafety measures.
It adds that from two months after the promulgation of this Resolution, all persons who are food handlers, who require the certificate of good health (white card) or the certificate of sanitary training (green card), must comply with the requirement to have two doses of the
COVID-19
vaccine.
In addition, people who participate as a driver or home delivery person in food delivery or delivery services, using vehicles, motorcycles, mopeds, quadricycles, motorcycle vans or other similar means of transport, must have the certificate of good health (white card ) or the health training certificate (green card).
Faults and violations of these provisions could lead to sanctions for the people involved, including joint and several liability of the owners of the dispatching establishments.
