As of this Monday, August 16, the Ministry of Health of Panama ordered the lifting or relaxation of the curfew in several regions of the country that have presented a decrease in the number of COVID-19 cases.

From today, the curfew is lifted in the district of Donoso, province of Colón; districts of Almirante and Chiriquí Grande, province of Bocas del Toro; Mironó, Santa Catalina and Nurum, Comarca Ngabe Buglé.
The aforementioned regions are left without restriction measures.
In addition, the Minsa ordered the relaxation of the curfew in the following regions:
- Districts of Chagres, Portobelo and Omar Torrijos, province of Colón, where curfew will apply from Monday to Sunday from 12:00 am to 4:00 am
- Districts of Santiago, Soná, Cañazas, Montijo, Calobre, Santa Fe, Mariato, Río de Jesús and San Francisco, province of Veraguas, where there will be a curfew from Monday to Sunday from 12:00 am to 4:00 am
- Province of Herrera, curfew from Monday to Sunday from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. The Chitré district is excepted, where the curfew will be from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
- Districts of Boquete, province of Chiriquí, curfew from Monday to Sunday from 12:00 am to 4:00 am
