Panamá endurece medidas de movilidad

Curfew decreed from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am

In the Official Gazette of Panama this afternoon, Executive Decree No. 1683 of December 18, 2020 was published, which establishes the new restrictions for mobility at the national level to mitigate the high incidence of COVID-19 cases that the country is registering.
A curfew is established throughout the national territory as of Friday, December 18, 2020, from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am from Monday to Sunday, maintaining the exceptions contemplated in article 2 of the Executive Decree N ° 507 of March 24, 2020 and its modifications, states the decree.

The regulations add that the Ministry of Health, in coordination with the public security bodies and the Joint Task Force, will ensure compliance with the measures established in the decree and those who do not comply will be sanctioned by the corresponding authorities.
