COVID-19 vaccination sweeps announced in new circuits next week

The Minsa also announced that as of August 9, a group of private hospitals will join the vaccination process against COVID-19.
The Councelor Minister of Health, Eyra Ruiz, announced on Tuesday the new circuits in which vaccination sweeps against COVID-19 will be developed next week.

She explained that during the second week of August vaccination sweeps will be carried out in the following areas:

Circuit 4-2 (Chiriquí): first doses from the age of 16
Circuit 4-4 (Chiriquí): first doses from the age of 16
Circuit 4-6 (Chiriquí): first doses from the age of 16 and in areas of difficult access from the age of 12.
Circuit 6-1 (Herrera): second doses from the age of 16
Circuit 7-2 (Los Santos): second doses from the age of 16
Circuit 8-8 (Juan Díaz): first doses from the age of 16
Circuit 8-8 (Juan Díaz): second doses for people over 40 years old
Circuit 8-10 (Panama East): first doses from the age of 16

Ruiz also reiterated that as of this Wednesday, August 4, vaccination sweeps will be carried out in these circuits:

Circuit 1-1 (Bocas del Toro): first doses since 12 years
Circuit 2-3 (Coclé): first doses from 12 years
Circuit 7-1 (Los Santos): second doses from the age of 16
Circuit 8-5 (La Chorrera): first doses since 12 years
Circuit 8-8 (San Francisco): first doses from the age of 16
Circuit 8-8 (San Francisco): second doses for people over 40 years old
Circuit 8-9 (Alcalde Díaz, Caimitillo, Chilibre): first doses from the age of 16

On the other hand, the Minister Counselor indicated that for citizens who are waiting for the second doses of AstraZeneca vaccines to be applied, their arrival is expected at the end of this week. "Next week we will start the application of second doses at the national level for all those people who have this vaccination pending."

He added that in the express cars doses are being applied to all the patients left behind from the different circuits in which vaccination sweeps have already been carried out, while he called on the relatives of bedridden patients to come closer to their center of health or call 177 for health personnel to come to your homes to perform the vaccine application.

The health authorities also announced that starting next Monday, August 9, a group of private hospitals will also begin to join the vaccination process against COVID-19.

The people in panama are really very healthy. Nobody gets killed by the vaccine.
