Cortizo signs a decree that encourages and stimulates tourism

The President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo, sanctioned Executive Decree 319 that establishes tax incentives exempting income tax (ISR), import tax, and capital tax on special tourist products.
For the Tourism Authority of Panama, it is a decree that will boost tourism investment, contributing to the creation of new jobs.

Tax incentives range from the exemption of income tax for a minimum of 15 years on tourist activities and 5 years to taxes or tax on the capital of the company, as established in the document.

This applies to special tourism products: private museums, agro-tourism, rural tourism, ecotourism, sports tourism, health tourism and amusement parks.

Ya buy and build all the tourist stuff you want but if people have no money to come to panama it is all for not. A study in the US said 82% of the population could not come up with $500 for a emergency, and then you think they are going to come to panama that is locking down because town mayors are enjoying their power trip. Lets put on our big boy pants and admit that tourism is done in Panama likely for years. Yes it sucks to be you if you rely on tourism
