Cortizo: 150,000 people will be vaccinated in San Miguelito next week

The President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo, estimated that next week about 150 thousand people will be vaccinated in the San Miguelito district, when the process begins under the sweeping modality with the doses of the Pfizer vaccine.
He announced that the population to be vaccinated will be from 16 years of age.

"Technical board, local governments, joint task force, deputies, volunteers ... once again [are] prepared to advance in the territory of San Miguelito," he said this Friday during a tour of that district.

"You have to be prepared, San Miguelito," he added.

Next week there will also be a sweep in other circuits. Among them, the 1-1 circuit in the province of Bocas del Toro. And it will be from the age of 12.

While in circuits 2-2 and 2-4, of Coclé, residents from 16 years of age onwards will be attended. In circuits 5-1 and 5-2, in the province of Darién, the entire population will be served from the age of 12.

Since July 26, the population from 16 years of age will also be immunized in the Arraiján district, specifically in the 8-1 circuit. In the 9-3 circuit of the province of Veraguas, minors from 12 years of age will be included.
