The airline informs that in order to find out the available itineraries during August, and the entry requirements to the country established by the Ministry of Health (Minsa), they must visit Copa Airlines website.
According to Copa Airlines statement, it is initially scheduled to operate flights on August 21, 22, 28 and 29, from and to Panama City, connecting it with nine destinations in seven countries on the continent.
Among these flights to Panama are the transfer of nationals and residents from San José, Costa Rica; Guayaquil and Quito, Ecuador; Miami and New York, USA; Santo Domingo; Dominican Republic; Santiago de Chile; Sao Paulo, Brazil; and Mexico City.
There are defined restrictions for the entry into the national territory of Panamanians and foreigners residing in Panama, on flights previously authorized by the Ministry of Health, and among these requests are:
- Present to the airline the Certificate of Swab Pureb / PCR or negative antigens with a maximum of 48 hours prior to boarding the flight from the country of origin.
- Sign an acceptance in the sworn statement, provided by the Airline, by which the passenger agrees to comply with the sanitary control measures and health protocols that the National Government has available through the Ministry of Health, or the use of the application to the monitoring of the appearance of symptoms and confirmation of quarantine or other measures that the Ministry has for the proper traceability of the passenger.
- Provide the landline of the residence where the quarantine will be carried out.
The airline also proposes that those passengers who still have a valid ticket with Copa will be able to manage date changes without charging charges for date changes.
