Commissioner Simón Henríquez is appointed deputy director of the National Police

Commissioner Simón Henríquez was appointed director of the National Police, replacing Commissioner Rafael de Jesús Álvarez.
The commissioner Simon Henriquez was appointed as deputy director of the National Police (PN) of Panama, reported the Ministry of Security (Minseg).

Henríquez served as the National Director of Traffic Operations for the National Police.

He replaces Commissioner Rafael de Jesús Álvarez, who goes into retirement after completing his years of service in the National Police, the Ministry said.

Rafael de Jesús Álvarez had been appointed deputy director of the National Police by the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo in January of this year, replacing Alexis Muñoz.
