Las autoridades sanitarias atribuyeron lo ocurrido a un error humano no premeditado.

Citizen who by mistake was not applied the dose received COVID-19 vaccine

University professor Venancio Caballero, who went to Parque Omar to get vaccinated against COVID-19 but ended up not receiving the shot, was inoculated today, Wednesday at his residence by personnel from the Ministry of Health (Minsa).

This after a video circulated where it is appreciated that the nurse who proceeded to apply the COVID-19 vaccine, inserted the needle into Caballero's arm, but did not press the plunger, and he withdrew without actually being vaccinated.

Health authorities attributed what happened to unintended human error.

The National Head of Nursing of the Ministry of Health (Minsa), Eusebia de Copete, who applied the dose this Wednesday to Caballero, explained that through an investigation carried out by this fact, it was possible to locate the vaccine inside one of the biosecurity boxes.

The official clarified that the team in charge of the vaccination plan apologized for the incident. "No one in this profession wants to affect those we serve in any way," Copete said.

For his part, Professor Caballero indicated that his intention was not to expose or harm the nurse who made the mistake, but to call for attention to be vigilant when attending the vaccination process.

He also urged the population to go to get the coronavirus vaccine.

Regarding the second dose of Professor Caballero, the nurses indicated that they will be applied in his residence as well.

So the nurse has 2 jobs. Put the needle in and push the plunger. And she forgets one of these jobs. Time for her to be fired. And people are trusting this group of people to keep the so called vaccine cold. Ya right God gave the guy a 2nd chance and he blew it

The nurse did him a great favor, but he's too 'educated' to understand.
