The CCIAP reaffirms that the Magna Carta, which defines the framework of coexistence of those of us who live in Panama, be reviewed and amended.
The Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (
CCIAP), insisted this Sunday "on the need to reform the Constitution of the Republic of Panama", seeking to strengthen the weak institutional framework of the country.
The union indicated that “the last year has marked Panamanian history, not only because of the health, social and economic crisis experienced; But because the conditions that led to reform of the Constitution are maintained, and what is worse, they have deepened, exposing an administration of justice complicit in impunity with aberrant and untimely rulings, a cracked institutionality and submerged State organs in the clientelism that fuels discretion, insecurity, lack of transparency and corruption.”
